MEET MIKE
|
I was born and raised in Jackson County. I met my high school sweetheart and beautiful wife of 43 years at Vandercook Lake High School in Jackson. We are the proud parents to 3 adult children and grandparents to several beautiful grandchildren. We chose to raise our family here because we love our community. I also chose to run my business here in the 16th senate district. I am an active member of the Jackson Free Methodist Church. I also enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, working out, and being an avid woodworker in “grandpa’s workshop.”

EDUCATION

I earned a bachelor’s degree from General Motors Institute (GMI) in 1978, and a master of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1979.

PROFESSIONAL
|
I am the proud founder and owner of Orbitform, a leading engineering company that manufactures forming, fastening, joining and assembly equipment for a wide range of industries and applications. The company provides world-class prototype engineering services for assembly of parts and specialized forming and fastening. I also worked for General Motors in various management and engineering roles for 13 years. |
