Toyota newshas caused a stir among folks who support domestic auto makers to comment on the issues Toyota is facing. I would only hope that no one, especially people associated with our auto industry, wish misfortune for the company. Like it or not Toyota is part of our economic fabric now ...and generally a good steward, community member, and company to earn a living at. It's perfectly OK to allow the competitive juices to flow....that's what free markets are all about. But we want to remain balanced and fair. There are many first, second, and third tier manufacturing companies, owned by our friends and neighbors, who have benefited by the commerce Toyota has added to our economy. Let's get behind supporting them to quickly identify their root cause problems, pray that there are no more injuries as a result of these challenges, and welcome them back into the fight for customer loyalty. We all win when our competition makes us better. It works both ways.
